Afternoon Panel Session (Saturday) Abhijeet Singh

Abhijeet Singh is a Quantitative Research Officer at Young Lives and is a doctoral student in Economics at the University of Oxford. His current research focuses on issues of education, health and inequalities in childhood. His research has been featured in the World Development Report 2012, the UN-FAO State of Food and Agriculture 2012 and has been accepted for publication in Economic Development and Cultural Change and World Development journals. Abhijeet has a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Delhi and an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford. Before joining the D.Phil. program at Oxford, Abhijeet worked as an Economist in South Sudan's statistical agency from October 2008 to September 2010 through the ODI Fellowship Scheme.
