Afternoon seminar session: Diana Good

Previously a senior
litigation partner with Linklaters, Diana is now a Commissioner with the
Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI), which scrutinises UK government aid
expenditure to assess whether it is achieving maximum impact for the poor.
Since its creation in 2011 ICAI has produced 30 reports including on
Afghanistan, Pakistan, climate change, Palestinian refugees, education in East
Africa, water in Sudan.
She has also worked with Camfed (which works in girls’ education in Sub Saharan Africa). She co-authored the Linklaters’ report, “Accounting to the Girl: Working Towards a Standard for Governance in the International Development Sector “ which was launched at the Skoll World Forum and formed part of the Clinton Global Initiative commitments in 2010. She is a co founder of an annual conference at Oxford University on governance in the international development sector and was on the Advisory Council of Advocates for International Development.
